The production of cross-country vehicles of the family ZiL-432720 started in 1998. The chassis of the vehicle is mostly intended for assembly of special superstructures, for communal and road-building services. Five-step gearbox has been installed on the vehicle with the overgear, light-weight front and rear springs, pneumatic braking system with the energy accumulators on the rear axle.
Two variants of the wheel bases (3340 mm and 4140 mm) have been provided for the construction of the vehicle, that makes possible installation of the bodies of different dimension-types as well as the most necessary equipment for operation in different economic and commercial structures. Tow types of the cabin are available - three-seater and seven-seater - two lines of the seats. The vehicles are equipped with diesel engine MMZ D-245.9E2 (100kW).
